Windows 10: Not able to login any more with existing and verified Microsoft account

Hi, I have a Microsoft account and password, that I can access by logging in online into the Microsoft sites such as “account.microsoft.com”.I have used this microsoft account successfully since 3 years to log in from my windows11 Lenovo Laptop pc. Since end of March 2025 for some reason I am not able to login in any more with my Microsoft account. I always get the error that my “password is not correct”. While I am sure that the userid and password credentials are exactly the same as the one that i use for accessing Microsoft.account.com online and that I had no typing errors.The

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. Is your system connected to the internet? You can check this through the network icon at the bottom left corner of your login screen.
   
2. What error message are you receiving when you login with your Microsoft account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with your Microsoft account and check if you are able to sign-in with your credentials.

If you are able to sign-in with your Microsoft account on the live website, you can follow the steps in this article to ‘Start
your PC in safe mode in Windows 10’, kindly follow the steps in the section ‘From the sign-in screen’ and check if you are able to login to your system.

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• Are you able to login with Microsoft account in web?
• What happens exactly when you try to login using Microsoft account?

I suggest you to login to Microsoft account through online login.live.com, if you are able to login to Microsoft account on web then you can reset the password and then try to login and check if the issue persists.
