Windows 10: not able to login in to laptop with my correct PIN login

i am not able to dell laptop with my login ms account with correct pin it showing as below.this sign in option is disabled because of failed becuae of failed signed in attempts . use different sign in options or keeep power on for 2 hours and tray again,please fix this issuevenkata satyanarayana +44-758429241

OSK PIN login on non-touch device

Hello,

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

• 
  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

Not Able to login

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. Is your system connected to the internet? You can check this through the network icon at the bottom left corner of your login screen.
   
2. What error message are you receiving when you login with your Microsoft account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with your Microsoft account and check if you are able to sign-in with your credentials.

If you are able to sign-in with your Microsoft account on the live website, you can follow the steps in this article to ‘Start
your PC in safe mode in Windows 10’, kindly follow the steps in the section ‘From the sign-in screen’ and check if you are able to login to your system.

Not able to login to Laptop.

Installed some updates manually. Can't login to my laptop using PIN (It says- Something happened and your PIN isn't available). I used password option but it didnt let me through, even though it was correct. I updated my Microsoft password via mobile, but the laptop does not take it. Read a post to remove the laptop as trusted device from Microsoft account. But I still see the Microsoft account asking for me a password when I open my laptop.

It did not help in my situation.

My questions remain-

1) How can I access the information on my laptop without having to sign in? Or even if I have to sign in, for me to be able to put the password or pin and for the laptop to take it. I am confident that the information I am typing in , is correct.

2) Why is it still showing my my Microsoft account when I removed the device from the trusted devices list? I only have one Microsoft account and that is the only one used on the laptop. There is no local account or anything like that.

In this case, it shouldn't ask me for any security login options. Should it?
