Windows 10: Not able to login with microsoft account in my laptop

I recently changed my microsoft account password from the browser. I can login there but however the microsoft account has been logged out from my laptop. Problem is that i am not able to login into my microsoft account in my laptop. As i click to login, a dialogue box opens and it just keeps on loading and doesnot open the window so that i can enter my id and password to login. Working on windows10!

How should i login?? What can be done??

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. Is your system connected to the internet? You can check this through the network icon at the bottom left corner of your login screen.
   
2. What error message are you receiving when you login with your Microsoft account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with your Microsoft account and check if you are able to sign-in with your credentials.

If you are able to sign-in with your Microsoft account on the live website, you can follow the steps in this article to ‘Start
your PC in safe mode in Windows 10’, kindly follow the steps in the section ‘From the sign-in screen’ and check if you are able to login to your system.

MICROSOFT ACCOUNT LOGIN

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• Are you able to login with Microsoft account in web?
• What happens exactly when you try to login using Microsoft account?

I suggest you to login to Microsoft account through online login.live.com, if you are able to login to Microsoft account on web then you can reset the password and then try to login and check if the issue persists.

Not able to login into LAPTOP with Windows 10 with Microsoft Account or PIN ( Have Reset Password Multiple Times )

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to perform Safe Mode with Networking and check if you’re able to login using your Microsoft account.

Method 1: Safe mode with Networking.

Please follow below steps:

• Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold Shift key and click on Restart.
• Click on Troubleshoot.
• Click on Advanced options.
• Click on Startup Settings.
• Click on Restart.
• Login to Microsoft Account and create a new administrator account.

If you’re not able to login using Microsoft account then refer to below steps and check if it helps.

Method 2:
Activate Inbuilt Administrator Account.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold Shift key and click on Restart.
• Click on Troubleshoot.
• Click on Advanced options.
• Click on Command Prompt and enter following command.

net user Administrator /active:yes

Now reboot your system and login to inbuilt admin account and try to reset password for other account. Once you reset password login to other account and to deactivate inbuilt admin account enter following command in elevated command prompt.

net user Administrator /active:no
