Not able to print to 3 same printers at the same time since upgrade to Windows 11

Not able to print to 3 same printers at the same time since upgrade to Windows 11 I have 3 printer which same model. After upgrade to Windows 11, I couldn't connect them at same time. But I can connect if it is different model. It's working fine if it is different model. In Windows 10, These 3 printers are working together without any problem. Also they all connected automatically when I plugged it on computer. But in windows 11, Only one printer connected automatically when it plugged. Other 2 printers which are same are not connecting. Please help me to solve this. Also I added printer ma

  2. Not able to print to 2 printers at the same time since upgrade to Windows 11

I have 3 printers attached to my computer, all USB connections. One of them is an HP printer which is just fine.

The other two printers are two different Canon printers (A & B) with which I have been having problems with since the Windows 11 upgrade.

For the past few years I have been able to send different print jobs to each of the different printers, and they all print at the same time with no issues. I could line up numerous jobs for each of the 3 printers and they would all just keep printing to the correct printer, in the correct order, all going at the same time.

Since the windows upgrade this no longer happens with the Canon printers. I can set job A to print on printer A it starts printing. Then if I set job B to printer B, it will wait until printer A finishes before starting to print. If I then set job C to printer A while job A is still printing, it will start job C straight after job A, and printer B will keep waiting until everything in the print queue for printer A is finished.

This pretty much renders printer B useless, so it takes twice as long to print everything required on just the one printer. If anyone can shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. Not able to print to 2 printers at the same time since upgrade to Windows 11

    Hi AnnaKennedy1,

I understand that you have encountered the problem of not being able to print to two printers at the same time after upgrading to Windows 11.

Printer B may be because the driver is not adapted to Windows 11. The priority cannot be preempted. At present, there may be many drivers that are still not adapted to Windows 11. So it may cause various problems.

You can check if a new driver for Windows 11 has been released for the printer driver. Generally speaking, the driver update detected by Windows can only ensure the normal operation of the printer, and additional functions may not be adapted.

    I give the following advice:

1- Go to the printer's official website to see if there are drivers released for Windows 11

2- Can fall back to Windows 10 within ten days of upgrading to Windows 11.

3- Adjust the print priority in the printer control program (or driver)

We look forward to your response.

Not able to print to 3 same printers at the same time since upgrade to Windows 11

Windows 10 Home Won't Print to Remote Printer

    I have three computers.
Machine 1: Windows 10 pro, has the USB Brother HL-5040 printer
Machine 2: Windows 10 pro, prints OK to the remote printer.
Machine 3: Windows 10 home, Used to print, but not anymore (THIS IS THE PROBLEM).
I’ve tried everything that I can think of, and would appreciate any suggestions.
I did these steps on Machine 3 that did not work.

    1. Remove the printer device.
    2. Add a Printer
    3. The printer that I want isn’t listed
    4. Select a shared printer by name
    5. Browse
    6. Select the displayed Machine 1.
    7. Select the displayed Printer.
    8. Next
    9. Failure “Connect to Printer”.
    10. Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or Hostname
    11. Next
    12. Set Hostname to Machine 2, and set port name.
    13. Detecting TCP/IP Port
    14. Additional Port information required.
    15. Device Type – Standard, Brother Port Server
    16. Next
    17. Detecting the Driver Model
    18. Install The Print Driver
    19. Select Brother and Brother HL-5040
    20. Next
    21. Replace the Current Driver
    22. Printer Name (setting it to HL-5040)
    23. Next
    24. Do not share this printer
    25. Next
    26. You’ve successfully added “HL-5040”
    27. Finish
Printing on Machine 3 puts the document in the print queue, which reports error printing.
Printing from Machine 2 to the printer on Machine 1 works perfectly.
All three machines are in the same HomeGroup. Machine 3 can access the shared files from Machine 1.
