Windows 10: Not able to put emails into OneNote from toolbar, icon missing

Hi,
I am using office home 365 and outlook 2016 and windows 10, I used to be able to copy emails directly from outlook to OneNote via an icon on my tool bar in outlook. There is no icon any more. How do I enable this function again.

Windows Phone: Onenote and Outlook.

On my windows desktop I am capable of sending an email from Outlook to Onenote by clicking the onenote icon in the Outlook toolbar. This allows me to file my emails in Onenote for later consultation. I simply don't understand why Microsoft hasn't figured
out a way for us to share a full email from the windows email app directly to onenote. No one else does this, it would be a great feature to add to Windows Phone and a serious reason for me to drop my iphone and standardize on WP.

I'm missing the account summary of emails bottom left in 8.1

Is there any way to add to the emails screen in 10?

Can the icon in the toolbar show new emails? (Not working for me if it is meant to).

I want to be able to know if there's a message there without going & checking.

 

Check that the OneNote add-in has been activated in the Outlook Options window:





If not click on the Go button and check the box:

Thank you for your reply. OneNote was under disabled applications. I checked the box and pressed go but it still remains under disabled applications. At the bottom of the box it says Load behaviour: unloaded

 

Did you change the Manage: box to read "Disabled Items" before clicking Go...? See the following for further help:
