Windows 10: Not able to receive WNS Push Notification on Windows 11

    Not able to receive WNS Push Notification on Windows 11


    Hello All,I developed a UWP application and implemented WNS Push Notifications in it to receive notifications from a web application. It is working fine on Windows 10 but when I run this application on Windows 11, the application doesn't receive push notifications. The application on Windows 11 is also able to create a channel for push notifications. But when a web application sends any notification, it is not receiving it. Thanks in advance. :

    Can Windows Push Notification Services (WNS) be disabled?

    There is no push notification service listed in the services list. Presumably WNS is a core Windows component.

    Regular Microsoft-Windows-PushNotifications-Platform event log entries are being generated. After some research (e.g. blog about WNS) it appears that these "services" are related to Windows App Store application and live tiles updates. No article I've found mentions disabling WNS.

    It is possible to completely disable WNS (e.g. using the registry)?

    Not able to receive WNS Push Notification on Windows 11

    Push Notification History

    Is there a way to see Push Notification history. The notification window is small and seems to go away quickly. It would be nice to be able to see a historical list of the recent notifications. Can the Push Notifications be added to the lock screen
    with more text?
