Windows 10: Not able to register a C++ exe

We have a C++ executable that is built in the release configuration. As a project requirement before running the same, it first needs to be registered using /RegServer option. And doing so, it fails and throws this application error: 'The application was unable to start correctly0xc000007b'Whereas, in debug mode we can register the same successfully. Actually, we have been facing some workflow issue with this exe when deployed to a test machine and therefore we configured this project to be able to debug in the release mode. Registering the VB6.0 executable(.exe) using Regsvr32

Registering the my application executable(.exe) using command <FilePath> /RegServer but its failing to register in windows 10 but able to register .exe file with Regsvr32 .

is this correct way to do ?

is there any impact to register .exe using Regsvr32 ?

Hello, so today when i turn on my windows10 an error appear "C\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe
