Windows 10: Not able to save/download file on local pc. File is available inside code in byte[].

Hello Team,I am working on sharepoint web aplication backend c# and hosted on azure.Basically I working on virtual machine. Using citrix to access pc.I have file data in format of byte[] array in side code and want to save/download it on local, but i am not able to do that.For download I used response streamsExample :- Response.output data / Response.Binarywritedata.This Didn't workOrTo save on local I used desktop pathstring desktopPath = Environment.GetFolderPathEnvironment.SpecialFolder.DesktopAbove code return some different location wich is not accessible for me.Error : D:/Windows/S

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

 

Saving files locally only?

OK, thank you for clarifying that for me, Henry. There is a way to save a Word/Excel file online to your computer.

1. Click on File on the upper left-hand corner.
2. Click on Save As.
3. Click on Download a Copy.

This option would allow you to save the file locally onto your computer. However, the word/excel file will still automatically save to your OneDrive, but you can discard it once the file is onto your computer. I hope this helps. Please let me know if this works for you.

 

Data files not saving correctly [File names but zero byte files]





I've uploaded a snap shot of the actual folder with the issue.
I am trying to fathom out where I am going wrong.
The one thing that jumps out is the last in the list is Read&Execute on opening this up it's greyed out
