Windows 10: NOT ABLE TO SET LOCK SCREEN PASSWORD ON LAPTOP

I am using my windows account as administrator for my laptop and I can't access the password option.The add password option in settings->accounts->sign-in options seems to be disabled. Can someone please help me out with this??

• On the right panel select Sign-in options > Under Password you'll see the option to add password.

• Tap the Change button in the Password section.
• Re-enter your password; then, create a new password.

Lock screen automatically with password

To have a better view on this concern, are you referring with Lock Screen timeout? If so, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Click on Start menu.
• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Under Sign-in options, click on Lock screen.
• Go to Screen timeout settings.
• Change the value under Screen.

Also, no need to create a pin code since you already have your Microsoft account password. You can sign in using your account.
