I am not able to sign-in to my windows 11 laptop. acer NitroWhen I start my laptop, then I get "you have entered incorrect pin several times, To try again, enter A1B2C3", after entering A1B2C3, I get screen to enter PIN, but as soon as I enter my PIN, it leads to another screen saying "This. Use different sign-in options, or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again." screenshots for both screens are attached. Then I have kept the laptop powered on for 5-7 hours multiple times, still it does not recover. So I am not able to sign-in to my laptop for last 3 days.Not

Disable Sign In PIN

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, if you want to disable Windows 10 PIN sign in option, you can do it in this way.

Step 1: Press Windows and R key on the keyboard and enter gpedit.msc on Run open box. Then, press Enter or click the OK button to access Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2: In this interface, access Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Systems > Logon > Turn on PIN sign-in.

Step 3: Double click Turn on PIN sign-in, and set this option to Disabled. Then click OK and Apply button. After that, the PIN sign in option is disabled.

 

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

sign in option is disabled windows 11

The sign-in option is disabled in my windows 11 laptop.

when I try to login I get to see the place where you enter the pin then when I enter the pin it shows "this sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns". before this, my laptop was perfectly fine. I did not enter the wrong password nor did I shut down my laptop repeatedly. when I click the forgot password option it does nothing. and after waiting for more than 2 hours nothing happened. every time I put the laptop on sleep and turn it back on I can see the place where you enter the pin but when I enter the correct pin it shows the same message. I have tried many tutorials on the web but nothing worked .please help me to come up with a solution to this. I have a lot of important files on this laptop thus I cannot reset it.
