    Hi guys, So I just recently downloaded discord to play a game with my friend, today I launched my PC and the Discord started with it. So as usual, to prevent it from eating my memory, I went full CTRL + Shift + ESC and went to startup tab - but it wasnt there, to my surprise. So I went to Discord settings and disabled the startup from there. All good so far - but that got me thinking. I have several other apps displayed in processes that I also dont really know and since the Discord was not listed in the startup options, I think that maybe there are more apps that are launching on startup in

    Task Manager - Startup tab

    Actually, I like your suggestion as a first step.

    Unchecking the wrong thing in Autoruns can brick a system.

    Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

    I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

    Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

    Any suggestions?

    Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

    I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?
