  1. Not being able to save a Dorico 4 project specifically in the Documents library

I'm using a music notation software Dorico 4 and my projects are in a folder called "Dorico projects" which itself is in the Documents library. Saving the projects don't work: I make a change in the file, click save, see the star next to the file name dissapear in the upleft corner, and close the project. When I reopen it, it's like the change didn't happen, it's still the old version. "Date modified" is also old. But as soon as I drag the "Dorico projects" folder to the Desktop, it all works. Moving it back to Documents, stops it from working again. Is this a Windows 11 issue? I've had no luc

Save a collection of open windows

I work on a couple of projects that last several months each. When I work on a project there'll be a couple project views, plus several reference pages open. I work 3-4 hours at a stretch, then save the work and go on to other things. Coming back to the project, I'd like for the last collection of open windows to appear, instead of finding and clicking on a bunch of URLs. The Libraries and Quick Access list are candidates for this, do you have suggestions on setting this up? Help will be much appreciated.

  4. Not being able to save a Dorico 4 project specifically in the Documents library

In the Photos app how can I save a file to a specific location?

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    • Where are you downloading/importing pictures from?
When you click on "Save" or "Save a copy", file explorer should come up on the screen to click Save. You can then manually select the library you want to save the picture to.

You may not receive a specific prompt "if you want to save somewhere else". Please make the selection manually by clicking a specific library (Pictures, Documents, This PC, etc.) from the listing on the left when file explorer pops up.

Hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reply in case you face any other issues with Windows in future.
