Windows 10: Not booting windows 10 from external HDD in other PC

Here is a scenario i am facing right now. I had hdd in my laptop with windows 10 with 4 partitions along with system reserved. I repalced hdd with ssd and got an enclosure for the hdd. I got another laptop that had win 10 running in it but its hdd got corrupted and i threw it away. I want to run win 10 form my hdd to keep using that windows occasionally. I tried to boot it externally via usb 2.0 and 3.0 as well as internally to the second laptop but no luck. It is not even showing up in its uefi menu. The hdd, enclosure, and data cable is fine, i connected it to my first laptop and i can acces

PC Won't Boot Normally Without External HDD

HDDs in Question:
- SSD, containing the OS (500GB)

- Original HDD (2T)

- New HDD (4T)

My PC was running low on memory, so I purchased a new Internal HDD (4T) to replace the 2T HDD. I also purchased a 5T external to copy the files from the old HDD. I used Macrium Reflect to clone the old HDD to the external. Once I did this, I removed the old HDD from the PC and swapped it with the new one. The PC now only boots into BIOS unless either 1.) the external remains plugged in or 2.) I take out the new HDD and put the old one back in.

I'm not sure what is on the external that is not allowing the PC to boot without it, as it doesn't contain the OS. I've attempted to move the boot order around, but I can't tell what is what.

Please guide me, if possible step by step on how to install Windows 10 on external HDD.

Boot from external USB HDD

Hello!

Any laptop should be able to Be booted from an external HDD.

You can check this back accessing your BIOS and then checking if the BIOS gives you an option to boot from USB.

If that option is listed, then you're good to go!
