.. of activity - there is no specific pattern.

JUST formatted entire harddrive and reloaded Windows in hopes of solving but crashes actually getting worse.

all drivers (including GeForce ) should be up to date.

hardware all passes both dell online and dell BIOS level hardware diagnostics without error.

thank you any help would be appreciated.

    :)

  2. Lumia 900 Various Issues

After a call i have seen weird issues, such as screen freeze, lock screen not scolling down completely while trying to turn the phone off and the weirdest would be opening random tiles. After a call, i returned to home screen to see the phone open up random
    tiles until reboot.

Device goes to sleep, regardless of power settings

I am noticing an intermittent issue with a clean install of Windows 10, where intermittently the device will go to sleep while on power in 2 minutes regardless of the power option settings/profile and the screen saver timeout.

This occurs regardless of the power mode the device is in, such as High Performance or Balanced, or a customer plan. The only resolution is to reboot the device, where it might not happen again until the next reboot - however it appears to be completely
    random.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue and managed to find a resolution?

    Both dumpfiles blame:
Code: BugCheck D1, {ffffbbfee7bfe200, 2, 1, fffff80d9f7ddfe6} *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+19dfe6 )[/quote] This is the driver of your Nvdia GPU.. The driver might be corrupted uninstall with DDU download ddu and reinstall.

Or rollback to a older driver.

yes i think this is the issue as well and good to hear someone else verify it. Unfortunately not out of the woods yet.

I uninstalled and went back about 6 versions to 375.70 from 10/28/16 and the desktop stayed up and running without problem including re-installations of office and configuring things back the way I like.
Then it ran 36 hours straight without crashing

In the last few hours I made a ton of changes to some minor programs. Nothing that impacts the OS in any way. As force of habit I decided to reboot and…

    Crash on reboot

rebooted again and then Up for a little while and then frozen screen so had to physically force shutdown.

Checked to make sure I didn’t get an auto update on video driver and I did not

So checked the log files and got a huge crush of video driver related error messages. So rolled back further to 372.90 from 9/21 and this time frozen screen 5 min after reboot

Trying to go back now to 372.70 from 8/30

I have had these video cards for about a year and a half now and problems only showed up in last few weeks so I am convinced it is centered around that but very frustrating.

Anyone else had trouble with NVidia drivers?
Also I will upload my latest memory dump in case anyone else can find something I am overlooking.

I am going to uninstall the GeForce experience app as well as I don't remember using that in the past and it seems as though the problems starting showing up about the time that did. Of course it may have been working fine in background before and I just didnt notice.

Sadly no new dumpfiles inside the new zip.

But in the eventviewer these faulting apps are mentioned builder3d.exe with faulting module name VCruntime140_app.dll and ootp17.exe.
Do not known these programs trigger the BSOD or because of the nvdiadriver bsoding these programs crash.

Also update your Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection, the drivers are from 2013.

And look for newer drivers for your

not BSOD - but random reboots and complete screen freezes regardless..

    thank you for the help.

i dont think that ootp (baseball sim game) or builder3d (I believe this is a new component of the game) are causing the problem because I am getting the reboots constantly even when nothing is running and also because this is ver 17 of the ootp game and I have no issues with it before on same machine and others for years.

I am convinced this is around the NVidia driver. what i might do is see if I have an old video card I can put in here and see if that solves (and proves the theory)

I will also check the NIC driver but I did just download those so that info might be before that, I will check.

nothing currently connected to USB other then microsoft wireless mouse/keyboard - I did just update those drivers as well.

thanks again. I will report back if I figure anything out
