Windows 10: Not detecting any input whatsoever from my mic.

I can't hear anything from my microphone after messing around with this:




For some reason when I changed it back to it's original value (shown above), it doesn't detect ANY input from my mic anymore.

Any ways to fix this?

USB Mic Problems.


The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

Mic inputs hate me... any suggestions?

It seemed that my mic input on my HT Omega striker sound card had died or something. So i tried plugging into the motherboard sound. Had to enable that in the bios, and do some tweaks with the realtek drivers. But the sound detection in windows control panel showed movement as i scratched the mic cover.

But a few seconds later... nothing. This is basically what happened when my soundcard mic wouldnt work.

I did a clean install of windows 7 yesterday, so i doubt its any settings from before that are causing this.

I showed some screenshots of my mic setup to the ht omega rep and he thought it should be working. I normally have my head set to my lycosa keyboard to the sound card in the back. ive tested just headset to souncard with no luck either.

I did try my headset on my laptop a few weeks back when this first occured and it was fine. Just now i tried an old headset from my closet on my computer and nothing.

If you have any suggestions deep in your brains... please share. As im not so sure the sound card is broken; and that an RMA will fix this.

 

Pen Input inverted

I just tried the troubleshooting steps you listed, no improvement whatsoever. I'm starting to think that it's the new screen. Maybe the man who fixed it didn't do something right or maybe it's a defective screen. I've tried everything to try and fix the
pen input, but it just isn't working...
