Windows 10: Not detecting network adapter or allowing me to install drivers after installing windows on...

Hi, so I built my PC a few years ago and installed windows from a USB on a hard-drive. Yesterday I decided to switch windows to my SSD using the same USB from years ago, and now after it has finished installing, I can't connect to the internet as it did not install the network drivers. I have tried to download the network driver I need I have a gigabit E2400 wired network adapter and it says I need to update windows first, which I am unable to do as I have no network drivers.Before I installed windows on the SSD I reinstalled it on my hard-drive, and everything is working fine, so it is no

Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
