Windows 10: Not discussion but complaint about KB5022913

    Update is ****. It screwed with my mouse settings to make me do the update made the pointer go to top right no matter what mouse or USB port I used. Then after the 'update', it changed my mouse's settings from right handed to left handed when the mouse is a standard right handed mouse. Updates should always be a choice never forced by affecting other systems/devices. If an update is so supposed to fix stuff, then why does it 'fix' or change other stuff that should have nothing to do with the update?

    I'd hacked my taskbar on 2 laptops some time ago. I had beautiful small taskbar and icons until KB5022913 installed. So, I uninstalled KB5022913. Reported same to Microsoft with feedback.

    I have removed KB5022913 from 2 laptops. Don't like the oppressively large taskbar and icons on laptop screens.

    Unable to Install Update KB5022913 - Error Code 0x8007371b

    Try this:

    Unzip KB5022913 MSU (windows11.0-kb5022913-x64_058db040fe0858ee045c9b7ceef197a0fd899e09.msu) from the MU Catalog. Use 7-Zip to extract the SSU-22621.1344-x64.cab file to "C:\Updates". Run the command-line: dism /online /add-package /packagepath:"C:\Updates\SSU-22621.1344-x64.cab" to apply the latest SSU.

    The Winners registry keys must be updated to 10.0.22621.1344. To do so, apply winners_fix.reg (zipped, and UNDO file included.). Rerun KB5022913 setup using the KB5022913 MSU (windows11.0-kb5022913-x64_058db040fe0858ee045c9b7ceef197a0fd899e09.msu) from the MU Catalog.

    If that doesn't help, repair Windows using an in-place upgrade.
