Windows 10: Not enough diskspace for completing this operation while Extending Dynamic Disk with...

Operating System : Windows 10Requirement : I am having 1 TB SSD and 2 TB HDD in my desktop. Both are configured as basic disk. OS is accommodated inside the 1 TB SSD and 2 TB HDD split into 2 partitions. Since I am running out of space in the first partition of 2 TB HDD, I need to merge the 2 partitions of the same.Method Tried:Taken backup of all the files in the second partition.Deleted the second partition volume of the 2 TB HDD which is worth of 200 GB.Tried extending the first partition with the unallocated 200 GB. While doing this, system asked me to convert the entire 2 TB HDD to dynami

Convert Basic Disk into Dynamic Disk

It would be helpful if you mentioned the things that you have tried to do that failed so that we can skip those steps. You can follow the steps provided in the article:
How to convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk in Windows 7, to change a basic disk to
a dynamic one. The instructions are also applicable for Windows 10. You can also check this article:

Ensure that you create a back up for your system as well.

Extending partition in Windows 10 raises "The operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dynamic disk(s)"

I installed Ubuntu 16.04 alongside Windows 10, however I had to remove it due to some bugs (related to Ubuntu, not Windows). I removed the Ubuntu partitions (279.25 GB) from Disk Management, and now I am left with the situation
shown in the attached screenshot. I tried to extend the D volume by including the unallocated 279.25 GB. However when I try to extend it I get the warning message "The Operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dynamic disk(s). If you
convert the disk to dynamic, you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s)...." etc.

Now, I do not want to convert the disk to dynamic, as I will probably install another Ubuntu distribution. How can I extend the drive D? Also, I don't know whether the 513 MB volume on Disk 1 (EFI System Partition) was created by
Ubuntu or not? If yes, should I delete it?

im out of space on my Driver C (disk 0) which is a dynamic Disk i want to be able to extend the volume by shrinking some space from the disk 1 (basic disk) but the problem is that i am not able to convert disk 1 into a dynamic disk (even though there is
53.4% of free space in it).

i own a MSI laptop operated by Windows 10
