Windows 10: Not enough RAM

I have had my pc for a few months and I just started having this problem. Whenever I'm playing a game or have a bunch of chrome tabs open, I'll get an error that says something along the lines of, "not enough memory." I don't know why this would happen because it only says its using 40-50% of my RAM. I'm thinking the problem might be a bad stick of RAM but I don't want to jump to conclusions. I have 2 sticks of 8gb ddr4 if that helps at all.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin
