Windows 10: Not finding "Wnidows Fax and Scan :" feature in WIN 11 for installing

I am having Lenovo Laptop Model Yoga 11 gen, Intel core i7-1195G7 with WIN 11. I have tried several methods to find the "Windows Fax and Scan feature Tool" to install it for scanning multiple pages. I have followed the following methods: Start> settings> Apps. I typed in the search window "Windows features" it displayed the features and I could not the "Windows Fax and Scan tool" feature. I tried the same in optional features, but it says No Results found. Some google searches indicated that this feature is already "inbuilt in Windows", and there is no need to download and install. But

Have installed Classic Paint in Win 11 and would like to set it as default.

It appears in the list of Programs & Features in Control Panel and in Settings/Apps & Features, but not in the list to be able to set as default apps.

It would probably help to find out where it has installed but various searches have failed to find it.

As I have also changed the "right click" drop down menu back to that in Win 10, it would also be great to have it appear in the drop down list for "open with".

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Windows 11 Features Not Working Properly

Hello Windows Community,

I've been experiencing persistent issues with some of the basic features on my Windows 11 laptop. Specifically, the Win+R shortcut and the three-finger tap to open search are not functioning correctly. These features work for about 5 seconds after I restart my laptop, but then they stop working again.

I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including:

1. Restarting the laptop multiple times
   
2. Checking for Windows updates and installing any available updates
   
3. Running the Windows Troubleshooter for keyboard and general system issues
   
4. Performing a system scan using sfc /scannow
   
5. Updating all drivers, especially for the keyboard and touchpad
   
6. Checking and adjusting settings in the Control Panel and Windows Settings
   

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Installation Win 11 WEIRD behavior

Hi, this is a Windows 11 question. You appear to be referring (though it's not absolutely clear) to a clean install of Win 11. elevenforum.com supports Win 11 - I suggest you register there- you will find many tenforums members there. When you post there, please clarify

That would imply you deleted all partitions of your existing Windows 10 and installed to unallocated space on your disk. Is that correct?

This suggests this is a build customised by HP. Windows normally includes all drivers needed; exceptions can be hardware and features specific to a particular model. There are several threads about not being able to type in search boxes on tenforums with solutions. However, this forum focusses on Win 10. Those threads may help you with that, although you should not be experiencing such problems with a clean install. Feel free to search tenforums for thise threads. Note too your PC is under warranty- so feel free to contact HP support and use their forum.

. Which server? something to do with HP? If so, suggest you refer to HP.
