Windows 10: Not getting any sound whenever I plug my headset in and out.

I've noticed this issue 2 days ago. I had unplugged my headset to plug it into another device. When I plugged it back into my PC, I wasn't getting any sound. I had updated all of my drivers and disabled the audio enhancements. I checked out to see if there was an issue with my headset, but according to the properties, it was working just fine. I tried plugging in another headset and had the same problem. I found that if I turn my computer off and turn it on it'll resolve the problem, but the moment I unplug my headset I have the same issues.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

I appreciate it I was more looking to see if anyone knows something that can fit my bill in that budget. Trust me I know all about the $300 range and even considered audio technica m50x with a condenser mic *Stick Out Tongue

 

Headset plugged in, but no sound

Recently when I was trying to fix some problems with my microphone, my sound stopped working all of a sudden. I have restarted my pc numerous amount of times and have used multiple headsets, but they all don't work. When I plug a headset in, I do get the
notification saying: 'You just plugged a device into the audio jack.' but still it simply doesn't work. My speakers do work on the other hand. How do I fix this issue, cause I need my sound back on my pc.
