Windows 10: Not matching Bitlocker Recovery Key ID after reinstalling Windows 11

Hi,I have reinstalled Windows 11 on 7th Sept 2024, and when I logged in I saw my D-Drive is locked with bitlocker. I tried to find the recovery key from my Microsft Account from https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey also from my OneDrive as suggested by Microsft Support, but the Key ID from my account doesn't match with the Key ID prompt for my D-Drive.I am really frastrauted as I can't access my D-drive, and first of all I didn't ask or choose for any bitlocker encryption. actually the issue is not that, i have recovery key and the key id linked to my account. But during the time i need it for the recovery, it ask me a recovery key with different key id. So the key that i have is not matching with the key id that is been
asked during the time of recovery. so please let me know how can i find the linked account by just key id.

Yes, key ID, device name indicated on the blue screen are matching with Key ID from the account, but recovery key listed there does not work. After passing diagnosis there is a message that pc was not properly restarted and it is going back to bitlocker blue screen recovery page.

 

Bitlocker Recovery Key ID - Does not match on affected machine & Microsoft Account Page

Hi MS Support team,

Today my Lenovo T450s laptop all of a sudden asking for a BitLocker Recovery Key. Hence I logged into my account on MS and under devices, when I clicked on the BitLocker Recovery keys, the recovery ID is different that what is showing up on my T450s machines.

I have viewed the a thread - Redirecting but this does not help me.

I need the recovery key for the key ID which is showing up on my machine.

Please help, this happened after an update on the machine from MS.
