Windows 10: Not my Product Key?

A very strange thing happened today. I reinstalled windows on my hard drive, because of a myriad of reasons. When it came time to put in the product key at installation, I said I didn't have one because I couldn't find the paper I had it on. Once the Installation was done and I started up the computer, I checked and it seems that there is already a product key present and it says it's active and licensed.I though that was strange, so I went and looked up what product key is being used, and it's not any product key that I've ever bought. I have no record of a product key ending in 3V66T.The two

Like davidhk said. But if you really want to see your windows key, I would suggest Belarc advisor. It will give you some useful information about your system, product keys of your software is among them (not only Microsoft, you will have listed most of your keys).

i know the product id but forget the product key

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (admin)
• Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Then hit Enter

The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.
