Windows 10: Not really a question more of a complaint/bug report For the Your Phone app

When you link your phone to the app everything but the calls seem to work as expected.


When attempting to call it routes the calls to the phone defeating the purpose of making an phone call on your PC. You can see the call status along with the options to disconnect and mute on the PC however you can not switch the call to the Your Phone app. After the call has been made, you get an alert on the PC stating that it could not connect and to ensure you are connected to Bluetooth.


I can "make" and "receive" calls on the PC by which i mean dial numbers and accept calls however they are routed through the phone rather than desktop.


I have done all the trouble shooting steps for both my PC and my phone to no avail and i know i have supported hardware for both.


My phone is a Pixel 4, and my desktop has the following:


i9 9900k

32GB ddr4

Aorus Wifi Pro Z390 which as Bluetooth 5

256gb NVME + 1tb NVME

Liquid Devil 5700 XT

Jabra speak 510

a gaming headset with dedicated mic because the jabra can be trash at times

Windows Phone 8.1 Bug Report for Pictures App

I may have found a small bug in the built-in pictures app of Windows Phone 8.1 (Developer Preview) that causes it to crash/close. Is anyone here able to reproduce it according to the steps provided below?

• Open the built-in pictures app.
• Click the button in the app bar to select multiple pictures.
• Select a single picture.
• Click the share button (leftmost) in the app bar.
• Press the back button on your phone to cancel the share dialog and go back to the previous screen.
• Deselect the currently selected picture by tapping on it again.
• The pictures app crashes and closes itself.

I am able to reproduce this bug every time with different selected pictures. I am using a Nokia Lumia 820 and my phone's locale is set to "German (Austria)". I hope someone here can reproduce it and forward it to the dev team.

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.
