Windows 10: Not receiving microsoft account verify codes that are sent to a hotmail account.

I updated my motherboard bios yesterday, and upon windows 11 booting up it immediately wanted me to create a new pin. I did my login and password for my microsoft account, and then it wanted me to verify myself using a secondary e-mail address or phone number. I couldn't use the phone number since it is a landline and doesn't accept texts. So I used the secondary e-mail account which is a hotmail account. However, the verification code e-mail never arrived, and I have tried repeatedly since then to no avail. I then updated the phone number to a mobile number in security settings and received a
