Windows 10: not receiving security codes

Discus and support not receiving security codes in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I am not receiving codes to my email when trying to update my security information, they do not show up in my inbox or junk folder, I receive emails...     I am not receiving codes to my email when trying to update my security information, they do not show up in my inbox or junk folder, I receive emails for other things but not emails containing the codes, and I have not found anyone who has found a solution.

    Overkill.

    As Two-Step verification has never been turned on, I presume MS thinks every time I log into access pages on https://account.microsoft.com/ pages I'm a risk to my account. Even from computers listed in the 'Devices" tab of those pages. Even though I have
    to supply my MS password to get to those pages.

    Are you suggesting I turn two-step verification on, which is what I don't need?

    • Have you recently change any of your Microsoft account's password?
    • Or anything that may have triggered a security code to be sent?
    • Did you receive it through email or sms?

    Hi Debra,

    Security codes are being sent to your email address or phone number that you've used to verify your account. Also, this serves as a security feature that will verify that you're the only one using the account. One of the possible reasons why you haven't
    received the security code is due to a busy server.

    • Have you tried checking your Junk Folder and check if the email was sent there?
    • Did you check if it was sent to your alternate email address?
    • How long are you waiting from the time you have requested for a security code?
