Windows 10: Not receiving verification code email.

Standard easy question here. I recently updated the bios on my desktop for hardware issues Intel cpu 14th gen. When logging back onto my desktop, it states my security settings have been changed and I need to log back into my microsoft account to verify. No problem. I know my email and password. But then I get the last step on receiving the 6 digit code to verify my email, and I am not getting the email, no matter how long I wait. To make things simpler and ignore the desktop issue, I can't add the account to my authenticator app or adjust any setting like adding a phone number onto my micro

Verification code - I never get the code
