Windows 10: Not receiving verification code via phone

Hi, i’m locked out of my laptop due to bitlocker, i’ve tried logging onto my microsoft account to get the key but for the verification code only shows my landline at first I didn’t realise as i set this account up in 2002 but its the only number ending in those digits. I request a code to be sent and i’m not receiving anything, i tried adding my mobile number but its saying I now must wait 30 days. How can I get microsoft to send me a code to the landline? I’ve spent hours going through the faq’s on their website but they are useless, i’ve checked the landline does not block numbers and rece

I understand you're not receiving a verification code for your Microsoft account. If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before. But if you have already waited too long and have made a couple of attempts, I suggest following the suggested steps in the "Troubleshooting verification code issues" section on the support page below.

Receiving wrong verification code to verify email

I understand that you are receiving a wrong verification code for email verification, we will look into this for you. However, please reply with the following details to assist you further:

• Where exactly do you get the prompt/notification to verify the email address?
  
• How are you trying to verify the email?
  

However, you can try using other options to request the verification code i.e. requesting the code over a call or as a text to your phone number and see if that helps in resolving the issue.

Account Verification Code Not received

Hi, my name is Anderson Souza, I hope I can help you with your issue.

Firstly, I would like to suggest, as a security measure, that you resend the image editing any personal information that may be appearing on it.

Do the phone numbers where the SMS messages with the verification code are being sent seem to be correct? If yes, check if your SMS app has a SPAM box, I already had this problem of not receiving verification codes on my phone because the messaging app was filtering the sender and throwing the message directly into the app's SPAM box.
