Windows 10: Not responsive

I am running Windows 11 on an HP laptop 15-gw0xxx The laptop boots up very slow and it does not matter what I open word internet etc. it says either not responding or does not say anything and takes a very long time to open. Literally a couple minutes almost. I run Malwarebytes and it found nothing. My current space left on the HD is 740 GB out of 930 GB. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas or suggestions

Thank you Paul Black for your response to my query. I did just what you suggested in your response - mounted the ISO and selected and clicked on Setup. The first few steps went smoothly (I chose not to include updates at this time and waited to be presented with the list of options to save programs and files, etc. That is when I was presented with only one option - Nothing would be saved. Strange but nevertheless true. N.

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
2. Click OK.

• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
• Are you using any third-party antivirus software?

Meanwhile, I'd recommend performing the steps in this article
to troubleshoot issues with Cortana.
