Windows 10: Not waiting for 20H2

Discus and support Not waiting for 20H2 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; 20H2 started to roll out October 20, 2020.     Not waiting for 20H2


    20H2 started to roll out October 20, 2020.


    Even though I had some 20H2 features unlocked, already, I didn’t feel like / couldn’t be bothered wondering, checking and waiting for it to show via WU, so, I used MCT and now, have

    Edition Windows 10 Pro

    Version 20H2

    Installed on ‎21-‎Oct-‎2020

    OS build 19042.572

    Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0

    And, NOW, Edge IS, actually, imbedded with 20H2.

    I swear there is a noticeable performance 'nudge', too.

    Unable to get New Version 20H2

    Hi, this is Gavin. Currently using Microsoft Windows 10 OS, Version 2004 (OS Build: 19041.572)

    I heard & read that Microsoft has released New Windows 10 OS, Version "20H2". But when i checked for Updates through Windows Updates its shows me that you,re using the Latest Version.

    Can you please help me to update to New Windows 10 OS, Version "20H2". Is there any Link to Download Version "20H2". Eagerly waiting to try the New Windows
    10 OS, Version "20H2".

    Please help.

    Don't Jump the Gun w/ 20H2❗

    This is to Users not running Windows Insider Builds❗

    There IS an Insider Track that IS 20H2. HOWEVER, For Regular Windows 10 20H1 (2004/19041.508) this is for YOU...

    There are articles/videos floating about suggesting how to convert a 20H1 into a 20H2. DO NOT do this or use their instructions❗

    WAIT for & until WU gives it to your machine(s) naturally ❗ DO NOT force it ahead of time from or using OTHER sources❗

    20H2 and Firewire/Audio issues

    I have a MOTU Ultralike MK3 which I have connected through Firewire on my desktop.

    My specs:

    • ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Motherboard
    • AMD 3800X
    • 32 Gb DDR4
    • Vantec PCIe Firewire interface with Ti chipset

    Before my upgrade to 20H2 - my playback was quite stable but since this upgrade, I'm getting a bunch of weird playback glitches. That is not even under load. I just play a file in JRMC with the ASIO interface and I get multiple drop-outs glitches. The playback
    definitely stops for 1 sec or so, there is no level showing up anymore during that second on my audio interface.

    I changed two times already the firewire cable, and the firewire card as well.

    My bios doesn't have a lot of options and I have the legacy 1394 driver installed which used to work quite nicely.

    Any suggestions?
