Windows 10: Notepad after recent Windows update doesn't show title of active document in Taskbar

Recently I've updated my Windows system to 2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5022913After that I could see that Notepad is capable to open file in Tabbed way. But while doing such - I don't see anymore active document title while hovering mouse over Notepad icon in TaskBar. Regardless what document I open now - it shows title as just "Notepad", so having multiple ones - I cannot jump easily from Taskbar to needed document.

Documents won't open from recent list on taskbar

I have applications (e.g. Word, Excel) pinned to the taskbar. You used to be able to click on a list of recent documents and then that would open the document. Now after the latest W10 Feature update, when you click on any of the documents nothing happens.
The application doesn;t launch, nor does the document open. I have replicated this with Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

 

Recent documents not showing on taskbar

Hello.

My recent documents are not showing up on the taskbar. I've tried several solutions and nothing seemed to work.

The "quick access" is activated and working, showing the recent files. The option " Show Recently opened (...)" on Start settings is activated as well. Nonetheless, no files are being show on the taskbar.

I've tried different solutions. Nothing worked.

1. Tried to deactivate the options, clear the cache, and activate them again. Didn't work.

2. Tried to "pin to start" the quick access. Didn't work. Same with the folder "Recent" found in C:/Users/<Username>/Recent and C:/Users/<Username>/AppData.

3. Deleted all files on %AppData%\Microsoft\windows\recent\automaticdestinations and %AppData%\Microsoft\windows\recent\customdestinations. Didn't work either.

I'm running out of solutions. Any help would be appreciated.
