Windows 10: notepad can't read files, also it shows l l l when typing.

HelloI am facing a problem with notepad on windows 11. When I try to run txt files in notepad, it shows nothing. Also when I type in notepad it shows l l l l.I tried to search for solution and I found that there is a fix for that by using command DISM /Online /add-Capability /CapabilityName:Microsoft.Windows.Notepad~~~~0.0.1.0. when I try this command it shows me Error:87 A windows capability name was not recognized.Is there a fix for this issue?

Not able to remove Local Disk L:

Open command pront as administrator (right click run as admin)

Type "diskpart"

Type "list volume" look for the volume assigned to L: drive

Type "select volume X" where X is the volume you want to remove aka L drive

Type "remove letter=L"

This should do the trick for you.

Taiwan based high-quality desktop and server chassis manufacturer CHIEFTEC, has today launched its bizzare CHIEFTEC L-type PC case, that might be very interesing for some of our audience. As the name suggests, the case has L-shaped design that allows you to install all your hardware components and then mount a flatscreen LCD monitor to its front. The case design is far from futuristic, but it will do the work if that's the solution you need. The L-type can house ATX or mATX motherboards, has room for seven PCI slots, 3x 3.5-inch HDDs, and a single 5.25-inch optical-drive bay. It measures 255mm x 370mm x 418mm, weighs 6kg, and features a front-facing rail that allows a mounted LCD monitor to be height adjusted. The case design allows for various monitors to be installed, the monitor only needs standard VESA mounting mechanism. Cooling is provided from a 120mm 800rpm exhaust fan, along with air holes to the sides and rear of the case. CHIEFTEC does expect the L-type to reach market in January 2009 at the reasonable price of £50.

Click your Start Button, type cmd, then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Paste this command and hit Enter

diskpart

Paste this command and hit Enter

list volume

Paste this command and hit Enter

select volume L

Paste this command and hit Enter

remove letter=L

Close Command Prompt

That's It!
