Windows 10: Notepad Help

Hello people! So I've come in to a problem. I am an HTML coder and I use Notepad to store my tags well there is so many tags as HTML is a world of imagination and you can create almost anything That being it is basic... but I do not know if there is a way to search for certain words in my super long note/list I have so if you know please inform me!!!

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Open Task Manager. Here’s a tip: press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
• Click on Startup tab.
• Select Notepad from the list and click on Disable.

I followed your suggestion but wasn't able to find Notepad listed on the startup. There are some listed as program but don't know which ones it could be.

Hi Rich,

I suggest that you use "WordPad" in Windows 10 to accomplish your task. Notepad is just too basic for this function.
