Windows 10: NotePad is auto updating changes made to saved file - how to disable that?

I have a game load order file that is updated via 3rd party, and I use NotePad to keep backup and redo it in my own desired order.Well, until a week ago... cuz once it has been a change to that file, it auto update the notepad tab - erasing my backup....So I need to disable Notepad from auto update changes made to the file - so I can keep what I had there, and have the option to save what I had and make my own changes....As it is now - Notepad is a crappy useless tool doing things without my approval. I want to be in charge of what changes it does to a text file I have open and edited, not jus

How to disable auto save history on Notepad?

I am using Notepad of Windows 11 but whenever I shutdown my PC without saving the text on Notepad, it gets saved automatically. So, when I reopen it next time, I get the same text back on it.

However, I would like to disable the auto saving of the text on Notepad so that when I open it next time, I get a blank space.

How can I do that?

Can't find saved NotePad in files

Possible that you accidentally save the files in a different file extension name.
