Windows 10: Notepad keeps reopening

The notepad on my windows 10 keeps reopening.I browsed through the task manager and on the command line I found this: C:\Windows\system32\NOTEPAD.EXE C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\hlfkrt.text

Please help me in resolving this

How do I set up notepad with margins that stay?

Notepad doesn't have margins, other than maybe width of the window size. Drag the edge of the window resize to what fits & normally it reopens the same width/height.

 

Notepad in Windows 10 doesn't display Chinese character

I tested this: I pasted some chinese characters from charmap into notepad.

On saving, a message box warned me that I have to change the encoding.

Did you get the message box?

When I use "Save as", and select "unicdode", reopening the file will display chinese characters.

BUT: notepad always uses ANSI as default, so is probably not the best choice if you have to do this more often.

 

I suggest pressing Win+R, and pasting this
%programdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Check for any desktop.ini files. If there is a desktop.ini file, try deleting it. If that still doesn't work, you should try a scan with your antivirus, along with MalwareBytes.
