Windows 10: Notepad Not Remaining at the Previous Location

I think that it is notepad issue of Win11. So please check it. Step. 1. Run Notepad 2. Move to left edge as like picture. 3. Exit Notepad 4. And then re-launch, it won't run from its previous location. If I place the notepad on the left or right edge and then exit, it won't remember its previous location. And screen split of Win11 is also same. when I used screen split of Win11, notepad is not remembered previous position.

• Open Task Manager. Here’s a tip: press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
• Click on Startup tab.
• Select Notepad from the list and click on Disable.

Default save location in Notepad

To address your concern, kindly follow the steps below:

• Open Notepad, then click File.

• You will get a pop-up window, from there click Save As.

• Choose your save location, the click Save.

Notepad

I followed your suggestion but wasn't able to find Notepad listed on the startup. There are some listed as program but don't know which ones it could be.
