Windows 10: Nothing is opening although it says it is.

Hi, i am in desperate needed help. On my windows computer nothing is opening. It shows that there’s a line underneath the app showing it’s open, but it’s not appearing over my screen. when I hover over the app with my mouse, I could also see it’s open, but it’s still not appearing over my screen. Nothing is opening. not even settings. I also noticed that my apps that are usually on the side of my screen when I open my computer is not there as well as the trashcan and all my other apps they’re just invisible. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
