Windows 10: Nothing is stuck in my keyboard, but some keys on a single row aren't working

Hello, I have been having a problem where the z, x, c, m, ",', ".", and enter keys on my keyboard are not working I'm typing this from an external keyboard. This problem has been on and off for a week and the keys randomly start and stop working, but now it's been a few days and they aren't working at all. I have troubleshooted the keyboard and no errors are showing up. I'm also pretty sure nothing is stuck in the keyboard itself. I have a dell Inspiron 15.Please let me know if I can resolve this problem on my own.

1. What do you mean by "top row not working" not working? Are you referring to keyboard top row keys?

I would suggest you to go to the safe mode and see if the problem persists.

To go to Safe mode follow the steps below:

• 
  Click on Windows key, and in the Power Options click on Restart while pressing the shift key.
  
• 
  A blue screen will appear with a few options.
  
  Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
  
• 
  Your system will automatically restart, press 4 or F4 key to go to the Safe Mode.

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...
