Windows 10: Nothing opening or loading on windows 11

Recently my computer has not been working if I restart it or turn it off and on. If I turn it on it works for about 30 seconds then nothing will load or work. I have tried the restart it 4 times and unplugging then replugging it in a different outlet. This problem started happening when my pc got accidentally unplugged when a pillow knocked it out of a socket it’s been acting like this for a while I don’t know what to do and I have been searching the web for a while to try and find an answer but nothing is helping.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Taskbar wont load, cannot open files, settings not accessible. Windows 11

Recently, Windows Insiders in both the Dev and Beta Channels began reporting that Start and Taskbar were unresponsive and Settings and other areas of the OS wouldn’t load. We quickly discovered an issue with a server-side deployment that went out to Insiders and canceled that deployment. If you were impacted by this issue, you can use the following steps to get back into a working state on your PC.

• Step 1: Use CTRL-ALT-DEL and choose to open Task Manager.
  
• Step 2: Choose “More details” at the bottom of Task Manager to expand Task Manager.
  
• Step 3: Go to “File” and choose “Run new task”.
  
• Step 4: Type “cmd” in the “Open” field.
  
• Step 5: Paste the following (everything in bold):
  reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\IrisService /f && shutdown -r -t 0
  
• Step 6: Hit enter, and then your PC should reboot. After rebooting, everything should be back to normal.
  

 

geforce experience takes an age to load..

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.
