Windows 10: NOTHING WILL UNFREEZE MY DESKTOP ICONS??

Hello, I do not know what happened but I went back to my desktop after closingout YouTube and noticed that all my desktop icons were doubled on top of each otherI deleted the duplicate ones, but the ones that remain are frozen. I went to viewand removed the check mark on auto-arrange icons and unchecked align on the grid. I also went to the task manager and went to Windows Explorer and selectedend task and that didn't work, then I went back again and selected restart WindowsExplorer and that didn't work either. Can someone tell me what other things I cantry to unfreeze my desktop icon

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
