Windows 10: nothng after windows 10 login screen

my pc boots up and I put the login password in then it just goes blank apart from the mouse cursor. The windows key will not work, no background picture or folders, just black screen.

I can get task manager up through ctrl/alt/delete and through that I can get onto microsoft edge.

I have tried reloading windows from USB but still nothing.

I managed to get troubleshooter up but none of them have fixed the problem.

I can get to BIOS but everything seems fine there but I cannot find a way to boot into safe mode

I have tried to restart explorer but its not running in task manager and I have tried running it as a new task but that still fails.

I cannot get into any files but I can see them all when I try to run a new task.

Anyone got any idea how to solve this?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Check Way 3: Lock computer in Screen Saver Settings.
Step 1: Type lock computer in the search box on taskbar and choose Lock the computer when I leave it alone for a period of time.
Step 2: In the Screen Saver Settings dialog, choose On resume, display logon screen and hit OK.
Is “On resume, display log on screen” checked?

  If its Microsoft account are you able to login using the web interface?
  

I suggest you to use the on-screen keyboard and try to login. Follow the steps below:

Click on the Ease of Access icon at the right bottom of the screen and select On-screen keyboard and check if issue persists.
