Windows 10: Notice Modern Authentication Methods by September 16, 2024

I use Outlook for my eMail MSN & Gmail and calendar activities for many years now and everything works well. What happens on Sept 16, 2024 if I do nothing ? I'm unsure what "Modern Authentication Methods" need to be added and therefore how to add what is required.
