Windows 10: Noticed a bug with the taskbar widgets

So since I began using Windows 11 just recently noticed a few times that when I try to click on a item or right click nothing happens, today for the second time I got sure that it was the widgets causing this, the left side of the screen is where the no responsive clicks happens, had a few files on the desktop scattered on both sides, when I tried to click on a folder that was to the left nothing happened...clicked on one to the right all good, back again to the left nothing, back to the right all good, clicked on widgets opened its paged closed it and I was able to click on whats to the left

N97 - Contacts Widget Photo Bug

Discovered another bug *sigh* with my N97,



My contacts widget started not displaying the photos of the listed contact favourites. The names of the contacts would be individually displayed but no images. I found this odd, but a re-start usually fixed it.



Now however, a restart does not resolve the issue. I've tried de-listing my favourites and re-listing them, and I've tried the contacts widget II, with no success.



No doubt a re-install of the firmware will fix the issue, but I currently don't have the time to do this.



N97 v12. Yet another bug. Yawn.

Windows 10’s taskbar is getting a big update with new weather and news widget - The Verge
To disable the taskbar news widget, use these steps:

• Right-click the taskbar on Windows 10.
• Select the News and interests menu and choose the Hidden option. Disable taskbar News and Interests.
• (Optional) Select the Show icon only option if you want to keep the widget using less space in the taskbar.

need help configuring taskbar widget

I'm willing to be that you have a lot more icons pinned to your taskbar than your stepfather. The amount of text shown depends of the space available, on a relatively empty taskbar you'll see the full description, while on a full taskbar it's just the temperature.





Try unpinning one or two.....
