Windows 10: Notification Area Icons location

Discus and support Notification Area Icons location in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Could not find "Notification Area Icons" in "All Control Panel Items" for Windows 10, but I could find it under Settings-System-Notifications.     Notification Area Icons location


    Could not find "Notification Area Icons" in "All Control Panel Items" for Windows 10, but I could find it under Settings-System-Notifications. Is that normal for Windows 10? How can I add it in the "All Control Panel Items"?

    Wi fi icon

    The Wireless icon is normally located in the Taskbar > Notification area. If you don't see it.

    Right click the Taskbar

    Click Taskbar settings

    Scroll down to Notification area

    Click Turn system icons on or off

    Toggle on Network and you should then see the wireless/network icon.

    TBH I don't really pay much attention to when or for how long the location services icon appears in my notification area. Do you feel that the location service or the icon is causing a problem for your computer?

    Hi @profdh, and welcome to tenforums.com! *Smile
    It's normal for Windows 10 as they are trying amalgamate the 2 'Control Panels' into one.
    You can't add it back to the classic Control Panel, but, if you paste %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{05d7b0f4-2121-4eff-bf6b-ed3f69b894d9} \SystemIcons into a Run box you can access it.
    Use caution, there's a lot of bugs between the two settings panels in this Windows beta 10.
