Windows 10: notification of gmail and or aol mail

Is it possible to get notifications when emails on my gmail and aol accounts aarive?

How do I get rid of my Gmail and go back to AOL and Internet Explorer? Since I switched, after I got my new Laptop, I cannot get my mail to sync, so I just want to go back to AOL

 

Mail not showing notifications


I am not getting toast or action center notifications for Mail app, although in the Mail app settings, I have notifications enabled.
In Windows settings, "notifications & actions", both the mail app and the calendar app are missing from the list.
I have not set up the calendar app, but I did set up the mail app with my gmail account, and aside from notifications, it seems to be working properly.

• When do you receive the notification?
  
• In which application are you receiving the notification?
  

If you are receiving the notification in Mail App, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps in the article

Your account settings are out-of-date in Mail or Calendar for Windows 10 and see if that helps in resolving the issue.
