Windows 10: Notification Popup snooze reminder Time - Intermittently the only option that works is 5...

On at least 2 of my Windows 10-64 Home PCs when a Notification Popup appears and I attempt to snooze it the popup will default to the 5 minute option no matter what I try to select. If I move the the notification to the action center I can then select a different snooze time and the snooze function will use the time I selected. As far as I can tell rebooting the PC resets whatever is causing this problem but that doesn't solve the immediate problem with the particular notification that I was trying to use the snooze on.

This issue has been around for awhile and one of the other threads I found the "solution" was long, involved, and didn't make sense since as described above the snooze function works fine for notifications in the action center and a reboot at least temporarily resolves the problem Also one of the PCs currently having this issue is a fresh installation of Windows 10-64 Home.

snooze on reminder - no option to delay longer than 5 minutes ?

It appears reminders that appear from my windows live calendar cannot be snoozed for a user selected time, and that causes a problem because then I either have to keep pressing "snooze" every 5 minutes or dismiss the item. Is there any fix for this ?

 

Task reminders keep re-appearing despite snooze

I'm aware of the pre-set snooze intervals. Here's a little more detail:

1. I set a task with a reminder for 3pm

2. At 3pm i get the reminder for the task - great

3. I snooze the reminder for 1 hour - i want it to re-appear at 4pm

What actually happens is the reminder re-appears at 3:01pm then i repeat step 3 several times. This is so annoying. Sometimes the reminder snooze works as it should but most of the time it keeps re-appearing despite the snooze

Yes, please Nokia add the option to :



1. chooze how long to snooze (ideally allow to set three snooze times, e.g. 5 min, 30 min, 1 hour)

2. chooze how long the alarm goes off for each reminder (currently one full minute, quite long if you are not next to your phone and you cannot snooze it).
