    Notification Sound Playing, No Notification Appears


    Title. When I am working with focus assist activated, I will get notification sounds and have no idea why they are occurring. It is very annoying and I either want the sounds to stop or I want to know what I am being notified about. Just hearing the noise is more distracting than hearing the noise and actually seeing the notification. Please let me know how I can fix this issue.

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    Windows 10 Plays Only One Notification Sound

    My HP laptop with Windows 10 plays only one notification sound for everything. When I change the sound in System Sounds, it appears to save, but the sounds that actually play do not change. In particular, I want to change the email notification sound.
    It currently plays a notification sound, but when I change it in systems sounds, the notification sound that plays when a new email is received does not change. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

    Step 1: Click the lower-left Start button, input sound and select Sound from the results to open Sound settings

    Step 2: In the Sound dialog, open Sounds and choose Notification in the program events.

    Step 3: Tap the Sounds bar, select (None) in the list and click OK.
