Windows 10: Notification suggestions on "Devices and Printers"

Hello,

Each time I open the "Devices and Printers" window, there is a yellow notification from Microsoft "Suggesting to replace the icons....". Before applying to you with this question, I did every possible setting while searching the internet.

It is annoying and I do not want it. I always close it with the X at the right end of the line, but next time it is back.

I'll try to attach a screenshot.
Answers will be appreciated.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

windows 10 VERY slow when trying to open Devices & Printers?

Windows still has a MS-version of Bluetooth stack, and running BT services by default.
Didn't pay attention to the fact that you don't have a Bluetooth adapter.
Scratch my previous suggestion, and disable everything bluetooth-related in services. If that does not help - check network and sharing settings.
Devices and Printers manager also looks for network-attached multimedia devices (e.g. PCs with streaming service enabled) and network printers. If you by any chance changed network/homegroup settings on your additional PCs, then it could've affected the discovery speed on your computer. Still not sure how to fix it.

I suggest you to use these steps and check:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Devices and Printers and then tap or click Devices and Printers.
• Press and hold or right-click the printer you want to use, and then tap or click
  Set as default printer.
