Windows 10: Notification: "We need your help to finish adding a feature"

As suspected, did a reset, made all the locations and languages agree and all fine until I loaded the latest chipset drivers and no screen rotation until I loaded them again!!

All updates now loaded and turned System Restore on just in case!

Great- you could check Cortana's happy- in the early days, you had to have several language related items consistent for Cortana to run without wingeing...

Note System Restore is not that reliable when you come to restore; disk imaging is an excellent backstop which we strongly recommend, although with different implications for your data when an image is restored as it's the whole partition. On the other hand, it works even if your disk fails.

Will not be using Cortana on this small tablet as primarily intended as a media player when out. Similarly, will not be removing hard drive if it dies!!

I agree. System Restore always work unless it does not - which is the majority of the time.

I did notice that a particular free version of a disk imaging program was a favourite on this forum but cannot remember its name. Please would you remind me?

Why is it so greatly favoured?

- robust- reliable- well supported (videos, documentation - but free version = no access to its forum) - regularly updated.

Downside- compared to (say) Aomei Backupper at first glance the GUI looks old school and complicated. The thing I find annoying is how well-hidden it is to start a differential backup.

But compared to some Chinese competitors (like AB) the error messages generally make sense.

It's fine not to use Cortana regularly- I don't- I was just saying it's a good indicator that all language related elements are in place and consistent.
