Windows 10: Notifications are not showing in Windows 10 October Update 2018(re-released edition)

I recently installed re-released version of Windows 10 October Update 2018. First I will say many thanks to team Microsoft to fixed some major bugs and boosted performance, this version works fine in my old and slow working laptop (after disable some unwanted animation effects and other heavy thinks) because my according animation effects other heavy thinks are one of the big reason that bit slow down computer.


Now my actual problem is I am receiving notifications of available applications, but when I click notification icon (available in right down corner) then notification window slides but showing blank, I mean no messages are showing.


Many people says think happen when you disable an option " Let apps run in the background " in setting > privacy > background apps


Good performance is priority of PC and because of performance reason, I disabled this option, but I am not facing this problem in previous versions of Windows 10.


Any solution available to fix this problem?

[/td] [td]Mapped drives may fail to reconnect after starting and logging onto a Windows device. Symptoms include:

• In File Explorer, a red "X" appears on the mapped network drives.
• Mapped network drives show as "Unavailable" when you run the net usecommand from a command prompt.
• In the notification area, a notification displays, "Could not reconnect all network drives."

Workaround: See KB4471218 for workaround scripts to automatically reconnect a mapped network drive when you log on to the device. Next Steps: Microsoft is working on a resolution and estimates a solution will be available by early December 2018.[/td] [/tr] [/table]
